  First, I have to stay that the personnel at Duke of Wellington are amazing....they are friendly, accommodating, and want you to have a great experience! I am from the USA, and did a long walk around the village - saw Duke of Wellington along my path, so decided to venture back for a dinner. The scallop & monkfish (w/risotto) was fabulous!!! Accompanied by a very nice glass of Voignier, I was happy. So, I talked to them about bringing a group of about 15 the following evening for just drinks and deli boards. They worked with me to make it happen, securing the bar area....well, my group loved everything and wanted to order meals (which, typically, is not standard protocol for the bar area). Did they rise to the occasion - YES!!!! They did warn folks that it may take longer than usual, but they really did it fairly quick, considering the size of the group, AND taking all orders on an individual basis! I cannot say enough good things about this experience, as well as everyone enjoying the food! I, personally, want to thank Lucy & Dylan (who worked with me initially), and Jessica (for working with ALL those food orders, also), as well as Tim (exceptional bartender) for all the assistance with making the outing a success. Now, move to Texas, and I would love to see you more often!!! :-)

  Great place to have a few pints and grab dinner!
  
  The staff are extremely friendly and recommend great food if you're new to the area.
  
  Had the Sunday roast and it was superb complete with excellent yorkies on the side and gravy!
